Fun to play and learning for everyone!
Bought these for my 8 year old son who is hooked on the CBBC TV series. He absolutely loves them and has learnt lots of gross facts about all the historical figures in the set.
Only note would be that they say they are 3D Top Trumps, but you need to enter a code from the cards onto a website, show the card to a webcam which will then return a 3D image. This didn't really bother my son but I felt it was slightly misleading. Lots of fun nevertheless!
Not 3D - don't waste your fiver
Bought this for my son who's mad on HH. We were really looking forward to seeing some cool 3D effect cards but these are NOT 3D at all. You are instructed on the inside card to go to a site and download some software which will interact with a webcam to produce a 3D effect - not the same thing at all. Wouldn't be so bad if the cards were a decent quality but they are pretty poor - the drawings are not by Martin Brown and the info is too sketchy to be very interesting. If I hadn't opened them they would definitely be going straight back.
Good cheap educational fun
We purchased this product because my 9 year old son is Horrible History mad. It has proved a great success. We went on holiday and it was a perfect game for in the airport and on the plane. Nice and compact we could just slip it in my son's pocket. As it is Horrible Histories the information on the cards was highly educational but because it was all "Horrible" my son found it all great fun. This product is a quick, cheap totally portable game that I highly recommend to anyone with young boys.
